Our choice of universal coupling is mainly to consider factors such as the speed of the transmission shaft, the size of the load, the stability of the rotation, the price and other factors, and use this as a basis to select the appropriate universal coupling. Most universal couplings have been standardized or standardized, so what should we consider when choosing universal couplings?
1. According to the size and nature of the transmitted torque and the requirements for buffering and damping functions. For high-power and heavy-duty transmission, gear couplings can be selected; for transmissions that require the elimination of shaft torsional vibration, tire couplings and other couplings with high elasticity can be selected.
2. According to the working speed of the coupling and the amount of centrifugal force caused. If it is a diaphragm coupling, which tells the transmission shaft, a universal coupling with high balance accuracy should be used, and an eccentric slider coupling should not be used.
3. Choose the coupling according to the size and direction of the relative displacement of the two shafts of the coupling. When the radial displacement is large, the slider coupling is optional. If it is a large angular displacement or a connection that intersects two shafts, a universal coupling can be used.
